My Opinions on the MCU Phase 4 Announcements

Hello interweb, Nate here!  So all of you probably know by now that Kevin Feige made a splash at Comic Con with his Marvel Phase 4 announcements and I, for one, was thrilled at everything they revealed.  I’m just gonna go into my general thoughts first before I tackle each individual property in more depth, but before I do that I wanted to discuss some future plans I have for this blog.  Soon after this post is published, I will be working on my ranking of every individual Marvel superhero in the MCU from Phases 1-3, so if you’re interested in seeing my thoughts on all of these characters stay tuned for that.  After that, I’m going to start reviewing the MCU movies I’ve missed due to my long absence from this blog only back words from when they were released.  This means my very next review will be on Avengers: Endgame, then Captain MarvelSpider-man: Into the Spider-Verse (yes, I realize that’s not an MCU property, but I absolutely loved it and wanted to review it anyways), and wrapping up with Ant-Man and the Wasp.  So, keep an eye out for those reviews coming soon!

In addition, last year I announced that I was going to do a “Ben 10 Week” where I review each series of the franchise and the movies that comes with it.  However, this came soon before I had some personal struggles that killed this blog for a while.  I do intend on completing “Ben 10 Week” but the specific details will be revealed as I finalize those reviews.  The Ben 10 franchise is a franchise that means a lot to me so I really want to do this justice and do a good job on explaining why the series is so great and deserve more love.  With that said, let’s get into what this post is actually about!  Marvel: Phase 4! A Returning Yu-Gi-Oh! Player’s Opinion on Link Monsters

Hello interweb, Nate here!  Now as I’ve been stating recently, I’m kinda expanding this blog a bit to include “geek” related topics on here.  But because I built my audience around superheroes and comic books, I’m not sure how many of my readers are actually fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! or not.  Either way, I decided to make a post about the TCG (Trading Card Game for you normies out there) because a somewhat recent development has been made to my beloved game that I wanted to discuss.   Still working on Everything Wrong With: “The Dark Knight Returns” Pt. 3 and hopefully I’ll get that out early next week! My Opinion on LeFou being gay + The Future of this Blog

Hello interweb, Nate here!  So this is somewhat old news at this point so I apologize for the lateness but I was debating over this post in the first place.  I talk about it more at the end of this article so if you want to hear more about the potentially new direction this blog is going to be taking, please go below for yourself.  In the meantime, apparently, Disney has it’s first openly gay character! My opinion on Pansexual Deadpool in Deadpool 2 and Young Justice possible LGBT characters

screenshot-2017-01-07-18-19-33Hello interweb, Nate here!  Yeesh, first my last post and now this.  This blog is getting too gay!  All jokes aside, quite recently Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds suggested that he would be hopeful for Deadpool to get a boyfriend in the sequel Deadpool 2 since Wade is canonically considered “pansexual” in the comics and I wanted to talk about this when it was first announced but it was such a minor piece of news that I didn’t really bother covering it.  However, a few hours ago Greg Weisman, co-creator of Young Justice, recently stated that there are LGBT characters in Young Justice and it’s possible they may come out in season 3.  So with two announcements of possibly more LGBT characters in comic book cartoons and movies, I figured I could share my 2 cents on this and maybe next time I can cover something a little less gay lol.

Side note: I’d really appreciate it if you guys would check out the last post I did do since it actually didn’t get as many views as I was hoping for and I really like the project that I’m working on. (more…)

My Opinions On the Possiblity of an MCU X-Men Franchise

mcu-x-menHello interweb, Nate here!  So Fox has stated that Logan (which may be the first Wolverine movie that I’m actually excited to see thanks to X-23) will be Fox’s final movie in their X-Men franchise before they reboot it.  Now this has lead to some speculations that the X-Men may be heading back to Marvel in a Fox/Marvel X-Men franchise similar to what Marvel and Sony have for Spider-man. My Opinion On Young Justice Season 3 Announcement

young-justice-season-3Hello interweb, Nate here!  So big news just hit!  Warner Bros Animation just announced a confirmation that season 3 of Young Justice is in the works!  Honestly, when I first saw the news on Facebook I didn’t believe it since the series was canceled roughly 3 years ago and it looked like hopes for a revival was gone.  Even after both seasons were released to Netflix I really didn’t think the show had a chance.  However, with a combination of Netflix views and fan protests, we finally got a 3rd season!  I’m just super excited that this is actually happening and I can’t wait to see where they’re going to go since the second season ended on a tease of Darkseid and they just ended the Blue Beetle arc so the possibilities are out there.  So that’s really all I have to say about this, no need to drag this on more than I can.  So with that, have an awesome day and vote for [insert random presidential nominee here] for president 2016!

My Opinion On Wonder Woman Coming out as “Queer”

wonder-woman-4Hello interweb, Nate here!  So recent news broke out where Greg Rucka, the writer of the current Wonder Woman comics, has confirmed in an interview that Wonder Woman was…interested and had romantic relationships with women!  Yeah, he really didn’t place an official label on her as being “gay” or “bisexual” but he pretty much confirmed that Wonder Woman is at least queer.  So is this a win for LGBT peoples everywhere or another attempt at forced diversity? My Opinion on the Ben 10 Reboot

ben-10-rebootHello interweb, Nate here!  So apparently Ben 10 is getting it’s first reboot and being the huge Ben 10 fan that I am I thought I would discuss my thoughts on this new series.  The series is suppose to begin airing in the fall next year however some sneak peaks have been released to the public that gives us a general feel for how the series is suppose to go. My Opinion on Deathstroke in Batman

DeathstrokeHello intwerweb, Nate here!  So Ben Affleck recently leaked a teaser revealing Deathstroke’s costume for the upcoming Batman movie and the entire internet lost it.  Now yes it is official that Deathstroke the Terminator is going to be the villain of the the Ben Affleck directed Batman movie.  So what are my thoughts on the situation?  Well it’s pretty simple: since when was Deathstroke a Batman villain?  He’s the Teen Titan’s archenemy! My Opinion on Zendaya as Mary Jane and Representation

Hello interweb, Nate here.  So the casting choices for Spider-man: Homecoming has became more and more clear that the main goal in said choices is to make Peter Parker’s high school as racially diverse as humanly possible in order to accurately present a modern day High School in Queens, New York City.  Because of this, an actress named Zendaya – who apparently have so far made a name for herself on the Disney Channel which I do not watch since Cartoon Network has all my favorite shows (except Miraculous Ladybug on Nick) but that’s besides the point – has been casted to play the character “Michelle” according to the Spider-man: Homecoming wikipedia page.  However apparently rumors are spreading all over the internet that the name “Michelle” is actually a cover name to hide her true character which is none other than the character Mary Jane (hence the title of this post).  Of course Zendaya is half-black and half-white – but of course since this is the internet the main priority is that she is black – and Mary Jane is 100% Caucasian so people are throwing a fit on why our white redheaded character is becoming black (wait a redheaded Caucasian becoming a black character?  This kinda sounds familiar…hmmm *cough*WallyWest*cough*).
