Hello interweb, Nate here! So a while back I reviewed the animated movie Batman: The Killing Joke. Now I just got done watching the recent animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn and I was in the process of writing up a review of the film. I made a reference to this review and when I went to link my Batman and Harley Quinn review to this one I realized that this review reverted back into a draft. I’m not quite sure why this is or what happened but I decided to republish it with as few edits as possible. This is, word-for-word, my original review of the animated movie. I guess you could consider this a “Lost episode” if you want. Anyways, this is a spoiler warning review and enjoy! Stay tuned for my review of the Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie! (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! The format to this post will be different than most. This is because I am currently away on vacation and therefore don’t have access to a computer at the moment. Meaning, this post is primarily made on a smartphone. So if this post looks a little funnier than most of my articles, or if there is more grammar issues ( as in more than usual) I apologize in advance. I may look back once I get home and edit some of the grammar issues or funny formatting, but I’m not promising anything. I am mostly making this post because I am bored and this is a topic I’ve been wanting to talk about for a while now. (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! Finally, here’s part 3 to my Everything Wrong With: “The Dark Knight Returns” series! One more to go after this one! Hopefully it won’t take as long to get out there for you guys lol. Sorry about the wait, by the way!
Disclaimer: I do not claim to own Batman or this comic. Batman is owned by DC comics, this comic is written and drawn by Frank Miller. (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! Whoa, that was awesome! Spoiler free opinion? Really good movie! Go see it, you’ll enjoy it. Trust me, it’s worth the money to see it on the big screen. From this point on, SPOILER WARNING! Let me say that again, SPOILER WARNING! One more time SPOILER WARNING!!! Trust me, you do NOT want to be spoiled. Hello interweb, Nate here! FINALLY!!! The last Spider-man movie before I watch Spider-man: Homecoming! Which turns out might not be this weekend but next weekend since I’m waiting to see it with my uncle (and no his first name isn’t “Ben”). However, this does let me take a break from the Spidey films so I can actually sit down and finish my Everything Wrong With: “The Dark Knight Returns” Pt. 3. Anyways, SPOILER WARNING and leggo! (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! I’m gonna be honest, guys, I’m getting a little bit of Spider-man fatigue here lol. I mean, this is the 4th Spider-man movie I’ve rewatched over the last couple of days. But we’re almost done so I’m not gonna stop here! SPOILER WARNING and leggo! (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! So yeah, finally finished rewatching the Sam Raimi Spider-man trilogy. You could probably see this coming a mile away but: Spider-man 2 is by far the best film of the series, Spider-man being second, and Spider-man 3 being the most disappointing film of the three. But is it really as bad as everybody remembers? SPOILER WARNING and leggo! (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! So right after 2002’s Spider-man, director Sam Raimi began working on it’s sequel: Spider-man 2 (cause this was before superhero movies ditched numbers in exchange for fancy subtitles). How does it hold up? Well let’s find out! Also, I forgot to mention this in the last review (partially because I just assume everybody’s seen these films at least once by now) but SPOILER WARNING just in case. (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! So with Spider-man: Homecoming out in theaters (I’m hoping to see it relatively soon), I decided to have my own little Spider-man marathon and watch all the old Spider-man movies from 2002’s Spider-man to The Amazing Spider-man 2. Some are amazing, some suck, but I’m watching all of them anyways! So since I’ve never reviewed any of these movies, I figured why not review each movie as I go? So that leads us to this review of the first Spider-man film ever made as well as the film that helped bring superhero movies to where they are today!
Hello interweb, Nate here! So recently a Huffington Post writer named Alanna Vagianos has written an article titled “This Is What Superheroes Would Look Like With Realistic Bodies” and proceeded to feature these characters with their photo-shopped “realistic” bodies side-by-side for comparison. Most of these make little to no sense and I’ll explain why in this response to this terrible article. So let’s just jump in, shall we?
