My Opinion on LeFou being gay + The Future of this Blog

Hello interweb, Nate here!  So this is somewhat old news at this point so I apologize for the lateness but I was debating over this post in the first place.  I talk about it more at the end of this article so if you want to hear more about the potentially new direction this blog is going to be taking, please go below for yourself.  In the meantime, apparently, Disney has it’s first openly gay character! Ranking the most anticipated comic book movies of 2017

Hello interweb, Nate here!  Little late on this but that’s ok.  So just like last year, I’m gonna go over the up coming comic book movies for 2017 and rank them from least anticipated to most anticipated.  Pretty straight forwards, right?  Alright, lego! (more…)

Ranking the 2016 Comic Book movies

2016-comic-book-moviesHello interweb, Nate here!  So today was suppose to be the Top 5 DC Comics of 2016, but I’ve been busy and I’m not fully caught up with all the DC comics I’m reading currently.  Therefore, I decided to do the comic book movies first and instead of a Top 5 list why don’t I just simply rank them?  After all, there were six movies so why not? Spider-man: Homecoming First Official Trailer Review and Explained

Hello interweb, Nate here!  I am so excited!  The first official trailer for Spider-man: Homecoming hit the web last night and the only reason I didn’t scream was that I was the only one awake at the time.  So with that said, let’s not waste any more time and check this thing out!

My Opinion on Zendaya as Mary Jane and Representation

Hello interweb, Nate here.  So the casting choices for Spider-man: Homecoming has became more and more clear that the main goal in said choices is to make Peter Parker’s high school as racially diverse as humanly possible in order to accurately present a modern day High School in Queens, New York City.  Because of this, an actress named Zendaya – who apparently have so far made a name for herself on the Disney Channel which I do not watch since Cartoon Network has all my favorite shows (except Miraculous Ladybug on Nick) but that’s besides the point – has been casted to play the character “Michelle” according to the Spider-man: Homecoming wikipedia page.  However apparently rumors are spreading all over the internet that the name “Michelle” is actually a cover name to hide her true character which is none other than the character Mary Jane (hence the title of this post).  Of course Zendaya is half-black and half-white – but of course since this is the internet the main priority is that she is black – and Mary Jane is 100% Caucasian so people are throwing a fit on why our white redheaded character is becoming black (wait a redheaded Caucasian becoming a black character?  This kinda sounds familiar…hmmm *cough*WallyWest*cough*). Will we see Robin in the DCEU? – Comixplanations

Batman's RobinsHello interweb, Nate here.  So I haven’t used this Comixplanations segment as much as I originally planned.  Ah well.  So anyhoo, we have heard from Warner Bros that Ben Affleck is not only playing Batman in the DCEU Batman movies but will also be directing it.  Of course you can’t do an MCU-styled DC movie universe without making at least one Batman solo film.  We know that Wonder Woman’s movie is in the works (I reviewed the first trailer) and Man of Steel 2 is currently in development (PLEASE make it better than the first movie) and on top of that Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern are all getting their solo movies.  So with that there’s quite a bit of questions and speculations that we can make while waiting.  However while a few of those characters I know very little about (like Aquaman), I do know most of the characters in the Justice League as well as their history and characters.  And while any one of them can make a really good movie series given the right creative teams (barring Cyborg really since he honestly needs the Teen Titans to be the least bit interesting), Batman in particular has the potential for a greater movie series than even the beloved Dark Knight trilogy with so many villains and allies that have yet to be used fully in a previous Batman movie.  But there’s one ally that I’m really curious on how they’re gonna go about with: Robin!

My Opinion On Comic-Con’s Trailers

Hello interweb, Nate here.  So usually with trailers I take them and I take the frame-by-frame to examine their content and easter eggs and considering the views those posts get I’m assuming you guys are interested in seeing them.  Now I got super busy and I neglected to do some recent trailers like the latest trailers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Suicide Squad as well as failing to touch upon the first Doctor Strange trailer.  Now I don’t want to do the Ninja Turtles trailer since that movie already hit theaters and the purpose to these types of posts is to see what the movie might be like and make guesses based on the trailer and then watching the movie to see how accurate my guesses are, however if you guys want me to go over the Suicide Squad and Doctor Strange trailers (For Doctor Strange I’ll do both and just do the first trailer first) than let me know in the poll below and I’ll get to those ASAP. My Opinion on #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend and #SayNoToHydraCap

Captain America IIHello interweb, Nate here.  So Cap has been quite busy since his third movie.  Why do I say that?  Because two twitter hashtags have popped up since the film’s release.  These hashtags includes #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend and #SayNoToHydraCap.  So what are my thoughts on these controversies that have popped up suddenly?  Well let’s take a look! Captain America: Civil War – Review

Captain America Civil War Poster IIIHello interweb, Nate here!  So I actually managed to see this movie in theaters on opening weekend so I can actually review it fairly early!  Now I’m not going to beat around the bush or anything and just simply jump into this review.  But before I review this thing I should warn you that this is a SPOILER REVIEW so if you don’t want to be spoiled (and trust me, you do NOT want to be spoiled) and you haven’t seen this movie yet than please read this at a later time.  With that said you might want to grab a snack ’cause this will be a long one!
