Hello interweb, Nate here! So, this movie kind of re-inspired me to get back into blogging. So, maybe I can rebuild this place a bit? Anyways, non-spoiler review? Well, I can do that one one sentance: Marvel made an actual Spider-man movie this time! Definitely watch it while it’s still in theaters! Believe me, the trailers make this movie look more underwhelming then it actually is! But now, SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!
Hello interweb, Nate here! So, this is something that has been on my mind as of late. Mainly due to the recent news of Disney buying Fox being pretty much confirmed at this point. The X-Men will definitely be part of the MCU in the future. Now despite that news, I’m not going to be talking about my thoughts on it at this time. I already did that back in 2015 (yes, this it really has been that long) and you can read my full thoughts here. Instead, I kinda just want to discuss this particular team in general for a bit. Hello interweb, Nate here. So I saw this movie a few weeks ago but just haven’t really found the time to review it until now. So here’s probably the last review of this movie you’ll see on the internet for a while hehe. Anyways, non spoiler thoughts? I think I like this movie better then the first one, but my reasoning is slightly biased as I’ll explain a bit more in this review. If you liked the first film, you’ll love this one. It’s just as funny, has more characters, and has a more interesting story to it. So now that that’s done, leggo! SPOILER WARNING as per usual.

Hello interweb, Nate here. Non-spoiler opinions? Black Panther himself is lame and boring, the villain is f*cking amazing, and Shuri is cute and funny. The story’s pretty interesting and the politics are thought provoking and interesting. This is probably one of the best Marvel movies out there but also kind of a strange one since it feels so detached from the MCU. While there are jokes present, it’s not as comedic as classic MCU and it’s actually more adult than any MCU film I can think of. I recommend it to anyone who wants a slightly more mature Marvel movie with some racial politics in the mix. Kids might be bored for most of the movie with only a few fun bits here and there to entertain them. From this point on, SPOILER WARNING. You have been warned. (more…)
Hello interweb, Nate here! Considering that this video already has 14 million views at the time of this writing, you’ve probably already seen this trailer already. So me telling you that the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer is out would be redundant. However, it’s still pretty awesome that this thing is out! Just like my last post, this won’t be a formal Review and Explain segment. I really wish I had the time to give this trailer the attention it deserves, but college is technically more important that Marvel movies (technically). So, you get this instead! I’ll just discuss the highlights here and my thoughts on the trailer as a whole.

Hello interweb, Nate here. So I have barely touched this blog in a very long time. Unfortunately, college has been eating away at my time more than high school ever did. When I do have free time I’m doing other activities instead of writing. Kind of a shame too. I’ve been really wanting to get my review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 out, just haven’t found the time to start the damn thing. However, the first New Mutants trailer dropped last night and being the major X-Men fan I am I wanted to get my thoughts out there. Usually in trailer reviews I take a trailer and analyze it bit by bit. Not this time. I would, but I just don’t have the time to dedicate to a formal Review and Explain segment. Hello interweb, Nate here! My first Pride Month special! I’ve always meant to do one of these but every time I found the time to do one Pride Month was over and I didn’t really want to do a Pride Month special if it wasn’t during Pride. I also wanted to get this out on the 26th since that marked the second anniversary of gay marriage being legalized in all 50 states in America, but I got busy on a Youth retreat and thus didn’t have the time to complete this. Maybe in future years I’ll be able to create a tradition of releasing a Pride special every year on June 26th but don’t get your hopes up. Enough beating around the bush, this list consists of my Top 10 Favorite characters in comics or comic book adaptations that identify as LGBT. Leggo!
Hello interweb, Nate here! So I recently decided to clean up my blog a little. The categories that I put all my posts in where kinda everywhere and I had a lot of random old junk posts that weren’t doing anything but making this place cluttery. So I deleted a lot of old posts that nobody was reading (mostly because they where old and dumb) and reorganized the categories a bit. This has little to do with this actual post but I did want to introduce a semi-new category: discussions! These posts are meant to do exactly what it says. I bring up a topic, briefly (or as briefly as possible) give my current opinions on the topic, and let you guys comment below with your thoughts and maybe we can have a little dialogue over it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a long drawn-out conversation either. I respond to all comments I get on this blog so if you decide to leave a comment below and I respond you can decide for yourself whether to continue the conversation or not! So with Logan coming out in a few days and the cinematic debut of my personal favorite X-Men, X-23, I thought I should get a character bio up for this chick sooner then later.
