Hello interweb, Nate here! So I don’t like Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. It’s not nearly as bad as Spider-man: One More Day but it’s still pretty bad in my opinion. That’s an unpopular opinion, it seems, but I still don’t really care for it. So since you guys enjoyed my last SuperheroSins I figure I’d try it again! Next time I’ll try a DC comic. So let’s begin!
Disclaimer: I do not own Deadpool or this comic. All rights belong to Marvel Comics
Hello interweb, Nate here. Welcome to 90’cember, where I go over the over-the-top craziness that is 90’s comics throughout the month of December to celebrate the over-the-top craziness that is Christmas. Today we’re going over the DC Vs Marvel comic book line and exploring the crossovers that occurred during the events.
Side note: As most of you know, the second official Batman V Superman trailer recently been released. So despite the fact that we’re in the middle of 90’cember, I thought I’d post a trailer review of it tomorrow. You guys seem to enjoy those types of posts so what the heck!
Hello interweb, Nate here. I’ve finally seen the films Avengers: Age of Ultron so now I can finally review this thing! The reason these reviews take so long is that I live in a family of five and so a trip to the theaters is pretty expensive so we usually wait for movies to come out on DVD. So if you’re waiting for a review on Ant-Man or Fant4stic than you’ll have to wait a little longer. Now before I officially begin this review I do want to say that this is a spoiler reviews. Let me say that again, this is a SPOILER REVIEW. One more time, THIS IS A SPOILER REVIEW! If you haven’t seen this movie yet than I think that’s going to be the biggest “stop reading this” sign you’re going to get. This is my first film review so hopefully I can get all my thoughts down but if I miss something and you’re curious than just ask and I’ll be more than happy to share my opinion. So let us begin! Hello interweb, Nate here. So this question has been bugging me for quite some time now: what is an antihero? Now based upon my understanding of the term, an antihero is a character who does villainous things for good intentions. The best example is the Punisher who’s main shtick is to go around and kill bad guys. Killing is obviously a villainous trait and most heroes (such as Spider-man, Batman, and Superman [well, when he’s not being directed by Zack Snyder]) refuse to do it, but since he’s doing it to protect the innocent from murderers and thieves he’s not considered a villain; thus he’s an antihero. Many character easily fit this description such as Deadpool, Deathstroke (yes he’s usually shown as a villain but because he’s a mercenary he’s willing to help the good guys if they pay him enough. Which is rare but it has happened before.), Spawn, Catwoman, etc. but there are a few characters that people have described as an antihero that has confused me in the past and that’s what I’m mostly curious about here. Hello interweb, Nate here. So DC and Marvel are no strangers to animation. While I haven’t seen every one of these, I have seen quite a few that I’ve really enjoyed. So today, I’m counting down the 10 I liked the best and the ones I would recommend to anyone.
Hello interweb, Nate here. So the ladies got there top 10 list on Mothers Day (check that list here), now its our turn. I have to admit, this list was pretty hard. There are a significantly larger amount of male superheroes, so if your favorite didn’t make the list, I apologize. This is my personal opinion and you have full rights to disagree. So with that, lets get started; side note: there are lots of guy supers out there, so give me a little grace if there’s a guy I forgot that should have gotten on the list.
