X-23 – Character Bio

x-23Hello interweb, Nate here.  So with Logan coming out in a few days and the cinematic debut of my personal favorite X-Men, X-23, I thought I should get a character bio up for this chick sooner then later.  So with that this will be a somewhat special Character Bio since I want to give my opinions of X-23 being featured in Logan prior to seeing the movie so that will be near the end of this Bio. X-Men (2000) – Review

x-men-2000Hello interweb, Nate here!  So I claim to be such a huge X-Men fan and yet I’ve only seen X-Men: Days of Future’s Past and X-Men: Apocalypse, and I believe I’ve only reviewed the later on here.  (I would give it a quick review but that movie was so forgettable I’d have to rewatch it first.)  Hopefully, I’ll be able to watch and review X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: First Class sooner than later but I don’t know when that’ll be so no promises.  With all that out of the way, let’s get to the review!  Also, not sure whether this is necessary for a 17 year old movie, but SPOILER WARNING just to be on the safe side.

Ranking the most anticipated comic book movies of 2017

Hello interweb, Nate here!  Little late on this but that’s ok.  So just like last year, I’m gonna go over the up coming comic book movies for 2017 and rank them from least anticipated to most anticipated.  Pretty straight forwards, right?  Alright, lego! (more…)

Ranking the 2016 Comic Book movies

2016-comic-book-moviesHello interweb, Nate here!  So today was suppose to be the Top 5 DC Comics of 2016, but I’ve been busy and I’m not fully caught up with all the DC comics I’m reading currently.  Therefore, I decided to do the comic book movies first and instead of a Top 5 list why don’t I just simply rank them?  After all, there were six movies so why not? Deadpool – Review

deadpool-posterHello interweb, Nate here!  So I FINALLY got to see Deadpool that hit theaters all the way back in February.  Why did it take so long?  Who cares!  The point is I finally saw one of my favorite comic book characters on the big screen and I’m finally going to check out his awesome film.  Now in case you haven’t seen the movie yet I should give the SPOILER WARNING even though there’s really nothing to spoil.  With that, shall we begin?

X-Men: Apocalypse – Review

X-Men Apocalypse PosterHello interweb, Nate here.  Why does the X-Men, (un)arguably the greatest superhero team to ever hit comics, get such terrible movies?  Now I really didn’t want to make this review but in the end I’ve been reviewing these movies sense Ant-Man (excluding Deadpool since I can’t watch it yet and I haven’t seen Batman V Superman yet) so let’s just get this over with.  Also just in case you care: spoiler warning. My Opinion on X-Men: Apocalypse Billboard Controversy

X-Men Apocalypse BillboardHello interweb, Nate here.  So X-Men: Apocalypse it theaters this past weekend and yes I saw it.  I’ve been slow to review it because to be perfectly honest I really don’t want to.  It was bad as to be expected from a Bryan Singer X-Man movie and as the huge X-Men fan that I am it did kinda just annoy me on how poorly they adapted the characters for the film.  Now with that said, I will review the movie and that review will probably be up either tonight or tomorrow but in the mean time the advertisement for the film seems to be attracting more controversy than the film itself. Spread the Word: Beyond The Trailer PG-13 Deadpool Petition

Disclaimer: I am not in any way, shape, or form responsible for the making of this video. This video belongs to the YouTube channel Beyond the Trailers.

Hello interweb, Nate here.  So I’ve been subscribed to the YouTube channel Beyond the Trailers for quite some time and greatly enjoy the video content created there.  The host of the channel is Grace Randolph and her channel basically takes trailers from movies (not just comic book movies, although I do tend to watch those videos more) and reviews them and speculates about what the film will be like.

Now the video above is a video of her talking about the possibilities of a “PG-13” Deadpool movie to be released along side, or if necessary soon after, the rated “R” version of the movie.  The reason this is mainly brought to attention is that an 8-year old kid named Matthew is super hyped for the Deadpool movie and wrote a letter to his mother about why he wants to see the Deadpool movie.  It’s super adorable, here’s what it says (and yes I tried my best to copy the grammar and spelling):

“To: Mom From Matt

reasons why I want to see deadpool

I like the trailer alot

I do my homework all the time

He is funny all the time

I watch Xmen

I promise to cover my eyes if you tell me

I promise to clean my room and I like Superheroes alot”

Don’t lie, you “aw”ed when you read that!  Now Grace Randolph created an online petition to Fox in an attempt to make a PG-13 Deadpool.  I absolutely love this idea because Deadpool has became such a popular character in recent years that Matthew can’t be the only kid who wants to see the movie.  So I decided to help out with the petition by sharing this with you guys.  Granted at 81 followers to her nearly 500,00 subscribers I can’t reach as large of an audience as she can, however I am hoping that you guys can share this post, her video, or just the link to her petition to help out with this cause.  I’ll leave all the links below so you can check all this out for yourself.  Thanks for the help!
