Teen Titans: The Judas Contract – Review

Hello interweb, Nate here!  So I just got done watching Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and never have I actually wanted to review a movie as much as this one as soon as it was over.  Now the last DC animated movie was Justice League Dark and I had a review written up for that movie but once the review was done I read through it and realized that I really had nothing to say about it.  I enjoyed the movie, but that was it I just enjoyed the movie.  There was nothing amazing about the movie that stood out to me nor was there anything terrible.  Because of this, I decided not to post that review because it just was a really boring review.  This, however, is a movie that I loved so much by the time it was over that the first thought that came to mind was that I needed to review this film.  This is a spoiler review so SPOILER WARNING but if you really want to know if you should spend your time watching this or not let me just say that this may be the best DC animated movie – no – best DC movie released recently.  The DCEU has been struggling and the animated movies have been ranging from sucking to just decent.  But I’d say that this is probably the best DC movie in recent years.  So no more beating around the bush, let’s get this review started! X-Men (2000) – Review

x-men-2000Hello interweb, Nate here!  So I claim to be such a huge X-Men fan and yet I’ve only seen X-Men: Days of Future’s Past and X-Men: Apocalypse, and I believe I’ve only reviewed the later on here.  (I would give it a quick review but that movie was so forgettable I’d have to rewatch it first.)  Hopefully, I’ll be able to watch and review X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: First Class sooner than later but I don’t know when that’ll be so no promises.  With all that out of the way, let’s get to the review!  Also, not sure whether this is necessary for a 17 year old movie, but SPOILER WARNING just to be on the safe side.

Civil War II – Review (and Rant)

civil-war-iiHello interweb, Nate here!  You know what I decided I wasn’t going to do when this book was announced?  Read it.  The reason is because most event books are pointless and Marvel makes them so often that they’re annoying.  I also knew that this book was nothing more than a response to Captain America: Civil War because if people saw Captain America: Civil War and then saw that Marvel was producing a book with “Civil War” as the title, people would want to buy it.  Now I JUST got finished with the final issue and good god it was horrible.  I did not anticipate this book being as bad as it was and I want to let off some steam.  So with that, here’s my review!

MAJOR SPOILER WARNINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING COMICS: Civil War II, Ultimates, Doctor Strange, Spider-man, and Ms. Marvel

Deadpool “The Never-Ending Struggle” – Review

deadpool-vol-4-20Hello interweb, Nate here!  So when you hear “Deadpool”, does serious issues like suicide come to mind?  I doubt it, and yet that’s exactly what we get in Deadpool #20!  I wanted to highlight this specific issue because I fell in love with it the second I read it and I actually decided to go out and buy a physical copy to own (I read most of my comics online since it’s cheaper). Deadpool – Review

deadpool-posterHello interweb, Nate here!  So I FINALLY got to see Deadpool that hit theaters all the way back in February.  Why did it take so long?  Who cares!  The point is I finally saw one of my favorite comic book characters on the big screen and I’m finally going to check out his awesome film.  Now in case you haven’t seen the movie yet I should give the SPOILER WARNING even though there’s really nothing to spoil.  With that, shall we begin?

Suicide Squad – Review

Suicide SquadHello interweb, Nate here.  So I saw Suicide Squad opening day!  But before I get to this review I do want to confirm that I’ll be reviewing The Killing Joke either later today or tomorrow but I’ll definitely be reviewing it rather soon.  I put a poll up in my Wonder Woman trailer review and I have at least 4 of you guys wanting me to review this animated movie and nobody seems to be against the review so I figured I’ll give into your guys’ desires and cough up a review for the movie.  But I’m not reviewing The Killing Joke!  I’m reviewing Suicide Squad!  So let’s get into this!  And as always, spoiler warning. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – Review

Batman V SupermanHello interweb, Nate here!  So I am disgustingly late to this review and I apologize for that but I finally got around to watching this film.  Batman V Superman has been critically panned and while some people love it a lot of people feel like it was a train wreck of a movie that made little sense.  What do I think?  Well, I liked it.   It’s not an amazing film but it’s not nearly as bad as critics been saying it is.  But hey let’s talk about the film in the review!  Also everyone has probably seen the film by now since I think I was the last person on the planet who has yet to see it until now but SPOILER WARNING just to be safe. X-Men: Apocalypse – Review

X-Men Apocalypse PosterHello interweb, Nate here.  Why does the X-Men, (un)arguably the greatest superhero team to ever hit comics, get such terrible movies?  Now I really didn’t want to make this review but in the end I’ve been reviewing these movies sense Ant-Man (excluding Deadpool since I can’t watch it yet and I haven’t seen Batman V Superman yet) so let’s just get this over with.  Also just in case you care: spoiler warning.
